If West Africa was to adopt a formal indigenous language, what would it be?

Hausa/Fulani (Fula), maybe?

:jbhmm:
The thing thats so functional about kiswahili is that there are no "kiswahili people" in the same sense that there are "Hausa people". I.E. No one can get the big head or feel slighted cause a given ethnic group is somehow perceived as being over the others because everyone speaks their language. (though it seems to have been manageable in Ethiopia with Amharic - @2Quik4UHoes ?)

Basically kiswahili is neutral and there are no other neutral African languages besides kiswahili. Actually the Cheikh anta Diop lineage of academics put forth the idea of Medu Neter as an African wide language.
  • It's neutral (no one active ethnic group to claim it ...even Nubians speak Nubian language, not Medu Neter)
  • Has a script
  • Advanced enough to denote not only basic language but also foundational mathematics like arithmetic, geometry, etc
  • It's a language most devoid of outside ideological interference / influence
  • etc etc etc

America really needs to start investing in Africa
African Americans specifically:ehh: ...the U.S. federal Gov already on some fukk shyt in Africa so

Specifically there are enough AA municipalities that they could collectively pool talent and send entire work crews to fill contracts in Africa dealing with...
  • roads & bridges(construction & maintenance),
  • sanitation,
  • police training
  • traffic handling
  • etc
Get paid and split the pot on our side. Or even better have access to raw materials needed in city maintenance on our side. That way basic city maintenance is cheaper because instead of paying for things like cement & asphalt they are given as part of the payment for fulfilling a given contract in Africa.

Above the fray.

Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) had another trade and education summit/mission in West Africa this year. Ghana and Liberia were the sites.

AAs and cont. Africans have been making money together for decades. The ideas you proposed are good ones. They are currently being done on a smaller scale, and between private citizens, and not municipalities.
