Back to back college championship games and balled the fukk out against elite Alabama defenses.

Name a white 1st round QB that has that resume.

Even Peyton Manning had just 36 TD, 11 INT and just 3 rushing TDs the year he came out. And we all know about his big game struggles in college.

So why the fukk aint Deshaun worth a 1st round pick?



And I'm not saying Watson will be as good as Manning or even a superstar in this league.
Just ask yourself why white QBs who put up inferior numbers against inferior competition get to be 1st round picks?

It's not about stats in college. It's about how your skill set translates to the pros. We've seen plenty of great college qbs who put up huge stats in college and did nothing in the pros

Also comparing qbs now to different eras through stats is impossible. It's sooo much easier to pass now then it used to be. A lot of guys are putting up video game numbers

Yes, but clearly the context is about a QB going into the draft right after the high INT level season.

If a thread was made about a star college football player that only rushed for 600 yards in his senior season, would you sit there and say Le'Veon Bell only rushed for 600 yards as well, knowing that was his Freshman year and not senior? There's a clear difference.

Sure, but you can't fall asleep against any team in the NFL. That's just a LOT of INTs against amateurs. Is his decision making that poor?
