Sums up my thoughts on why our picks were dumb.

Cliffs: We drafted two players in the first round, that will not play most of the snaps this year, when the FO will likely be fired by the end of the season.

To make matters worst, when this FO gets fired, the next regime might have to sell Mara that they can “win with Dart”, and it’s Daniel Jones era 2.0.

How is Carter not gonna get a lot of playing time this year?

That’s what I’m wondering. Given his versatility, that should net him more playing time. Not less.

I have no problem giving Dart a chance. It's not like we gave up much, and we needed a young QB. The front office likes him, so let's give him a shot. If he fails, then they'll all gonna get fired anyway

We already have two edge rushes who can’t play the run, now we have 3. Taking someone at 3, that you need to create a “package” for is idiotic.

At one point we had 4 de's in strahan/osi/tuck/kiwi and then jpp years later all in rotation. That's not a bad thing. He will get plenty of snaps. Also he's fine on the run. He sets the edge nicely. Is he Strahan? No. But he's not a bum either at it.

I watched him with one shoulder cause terror against one of the better offensive lines in football against notre dame in the playoff. Guy is definitely a player. He isn't kayvon who disappeared a lot in college.
