I need your assistance. I found this car at 87K mileage wise. Well maintained only 1 owner looks virtually brand new. I love the boxy old schooL 90s late 80s style. Never driven in winter, no rust, no accident.

FWD and automatic. I can’t drive a manual and I don’t want one. It’s being listed at $7,999. I am willing to pay up to $5,000 no more. I just called a Toyota dealer to get the value of the car and dude told me he wouldn’t be pay more than $500.

But I understand that it is more valuable in the private sellers market than the dealership. How much do you guys think the car is worth and how much would you pay?

4 door Corolla so it's an early model E90. 8K is too much. If it were an AE86 coupe (2) or hatchback (4), or an FX-16 (3) Id agree on the price because those Corollas got a racing heritage to them (drifting and rally racing).
