Funny how some people were saying that the Bulls weren't ready (too young) after barely losing in game 1.
Pat Riley wasn't heard from again after making that statement:mjcry:

Pat Riley? Mike Dunveavy was the coach of the Lakers. Or are you refering to Pat as an analyst.

Also OP using the Lakers vs Celtics video game screen caption....lol

The lakers were beat up that series but magic was special all series. He was still 1st team all nba and still cooking nikkas
.

Worthy and byron were hurt in this series but people forget mj sprained his ankle in game 3 and was hobbled the rest of the series

NONE of the Bulls had Finals experience. We really thought the Lakers would win, especially after that epic Game 1 win:

Question: Would the Bulls have won if Jordan had to guard Magic and not Pippen?

Magic was probably at about 80%....Still good enough to cook nikkaz because he's arguably the GOAT when he's at 100.

He was force feeding bums. The most athletic player on that team was a rookie Elden Campbell.

Byron Scott and James Worthy were both battling injuries.Sam Perkins was a decent player, but he's not a "go to" player like the Lakers tried to turn him into during the Finals.

The Bulls beat a patchwork Lakers squad. The Lakers were on the decline, heavy.

The '85-'87 Lakers would've got in that ass
