Just unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, La Voiture Noire is a carbon-fiber special edition chock full of references to Bugatti history. Check out the C-line bodyside character feature—a Bugatti tradition since the original Veyron—and the six tailpipes, a nod to the Type 57.
Like all modern Bugattis, La Voiture Noire (French for "the black car") is powered by a quad-turbo W-16 engine. In this guise, the monster motor kicks out 1479 hp and 1180 lb-ft of torque, which should be sufficient.
What's the price of all this exclusiveness? A cool €11 million before tax, or $12.45 million at today's exchange rates. With taxes, the total came to €16.7 million, or roughly $18.9 million.
