Technically Roman is still a heel. People just like him. His character hasn't changed at all. He's still arrogant as fukk and treats his peoples shytty. The way punk kept referring to Heyman as his "friend" shows you the difference in relationship. Roman let Heyman get his ass beat and Punk would come save him.
I also feel like Roman goes full evil mode if Jey wins the belt because Jey with the belt essentially makes him the tribal cheif. So when they said this shyt was in the third inning they weren't lying. I think Roman turns into a solo like character and reforms another bloodline to come after Jey and his title because he refuses to acknowledge Jey
viewpoint then he would've said it the first time lol.
