2 dark skinned women at my job was debating about wearing bright colors...

1 of the dark skinned women was wearing a yellow shirt. And the other one told her "You can't wear that. You're too dark!!" I was looking like . Why can't she wear bright colors? Because she's dark. I went to Jamaica 10 years ago and the church ladies were wearing all kinds of bright colors. But maybe I'm looking at it wrong. What do you think? Should dark skinned women not wear bright colors? That sounds silly to me but maybe you feel the same way.

I use to hate red lipstick and light colors like pinks, yellows, and baby blues but now I embrace them...they make my chocolate skin look lovely.

Would you wear dark brown pants with hot pant sneakers? No okay then. Some skin tones aren't made for bright colors just deal with it. Ya'll dark skin women wearing that red lipstick looka damn mess. Nothing wrong with wearing what compliments your skin. You don't see pale women denying this.
