Because Nas never did that. He and Carm weren't together been broke up for years. And he was talking to Kelis when the beef popped off publically, made no sense when he pretty much had a fiance by then. That was Jay's lame attempt to hurt Nas feelings, and it backfired too (he got no respect for that, he was getting ripped after Superugly for bragging about hitting sloppy seconds from the 90's).
