Twitter's account of deal shows Musk signing without asking for more info

Twitter Inc published its account on Tuesday of its deal negotiations with Elon Musk, showing he opted out of asking the questions about the social media company's business he has now cited in declaring the $44 billion acquisition is "on hold."

Probably more then that actually. Elon Musk is basically trying to negotiate a lower price to buy them because of the bot issue and is pressing the CEO to give acurate figures on how many bots they really have but he not saying shyt.

Musk is legally locked in though. It's not even clear he can pay his billion dollar fee to get out of the deal.

The only reason Twitter would even consider renegotiating is to avoid being locked in a long ass legal battle with one of the world's richest men. If they stuck it out they'd probably win billions from him, but it would probably cost them to lose billions in market cap during that time from the uncertainty of it all.

musk had the upper hand before the deal, now thats its a signed deal twitter doesnt have to do anything. im sure he'll try though
