20 years ago today, Doggystyle dropped

Where were you when this classic dropped? Anyone from my era will tell you that this was the most anticipated album at the time. It was equivalent to the build up of when Fif was about to drop GRODT. Everyone speaks on how the Chronic changed the game. No question, it definitely did. But for those who remember, it took a few months for the Chronic to really pop (atleast out here) Doggystyle, it was an instant hit. It definitely influenced the sound Puff was trying to capture, working with BIG on Ready To Die

And just to think, Fall/Winter 93 we had Doggystyle, Midnight Marauders, 36 Chambers, Enter Da Stage all in the same rotation. That was one of the best Fall/Winters ever!
