What a time to be alive. I’ll never forget the whole area being terrified to do simple things we take for granted, like pumping gas, going to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. A major city gripped with fear for 3 weeks, not knowing who was shooting at people, and why. Fresh of the heels of 9/11 the year before.

That was a lost year as a kid in PG. We couldn’t go outside for recess. Football got cancelled that year. shyt was the first lockdown


Crazy thing is I live in Bowie now and drive by Benjamin Tasker (middle school) weekly. I was in middle school when the shyt was going on. Crazy to think a little boy got sniped walking into school.
