yep. only thing really memorable about Mania 2000 was TLC 2000, Kane tombstone to Pete Rose, and The crowd throwing shyt into the ring after the main event

Mania 2000 was a lackluster mania but the atmosphere and how mainstream WWF was around that time was piff. Plus the Raws leading up to that

My favorite year too. Not to make this about race but I'm pretty sure every black kid that watched wrestling that year practically worshiped Dwayne (at least I did).

Losing Austin and Undertaker was actually a blessing in disguise looking back. I'm sure Vince was nervous about having to headline two straight PPVs with Foley though.

You damn sure ain't lyin. In middle school you had dudes growing out sideburns and wearing faux Gucci shirts left and right because of him. Girls in the back of class sneaking in Rock posters and shyts. The mainstream appeal Rocky had back in 2000 was crazy, even my mom had a Rock poster hanging up in my parents bedroom.

Bumping this thread but this is how crazy shyt was in 2000. You had a match which crowned a new WWE Champion in Triple H take a backseat to the Rock squashing DX in a 3 on 1 handicap match in the main event.

We had that illegal cable hookup, watched all the PPVs for free. WM 16 was lackluster compared to 15 and everything from 2000, and 16 is one of the reasons I don't like Triple H.
