2001–2002: The WCW/ECW "Alliance" Invasion and the nWo could of been better

Could have been a lot better but they threw it away because of a Bag well/Booker T match I think.

Even with the workers they had they could have made it work but they simply gave up on it too fast. Refusing to let WCW wrestlers go over WWF wrestlers killed it before it could ever get started.

They messed it up like they messed up the nWo & when they resurrected ECW. They watered them down with WWE talent & made them corny. No way Austin should've been the leader of the alliance. All he did was make people like Tazz & RVD look weak. Vince had the money to hire Bischoff so he & Heyman could run the Alliance instead of Stephanie.

As far as the Alliance goes, i can see why they didn't want to pay the top names their remaining guaranteed money. Honestly I'd kill for a storyline today to be half as entertaining as the Alliance was.
