I feel like when people talk about Westbrook they always bring up those MVP triple double years but imo he was an actual better basketball player when he was 2nd fiddle to KD. He was an actual basketball player during then, not some robot programmed to get a triple double but didn’t care about wins and losses

On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.
Check his career stats. You’d think he was a marginal player the way he’s spoken about and treated since his time as a Laker. He’s a GOAT guard. Only if he never went to the Lakers, we’d appreciate him much more. Your fav PG ain’t got numbers like this.

26,205 Points
9,925 Assists
8,677 Rebounds
1,955 Steals
203 Triple Doubles

9 time All Star
3 time Assists champ
2 time Scoring champ

Russ was at his best when he was hitting that midrange pull-up with some consistency.
:hubie:
Something happened. Dude used to be money on the pullup and shot 80% from the FT line for years and then it just stopped when you'd thing it would only get better or at least stay the same.

Always been a poor decision maker. Thats why Harden was so important. Once he got the keys, the "loyalty" battery, and in turn no expectations or restrictions and started putting up those dumb numbers he only became more emboldened to do stupid shyt.

I know the FT shooting was because of the rule change. Don't remember the specifics of the changes tho.

I have no clue what happened to his midrange pull-up. It just completely vanished. Hand and wrist injuries possibly.

No "possibly" about it. Russ has had so many hand injuries I'm absolutely convinced he has permanent nerve damage worse than anybody will actually say. Once his career is over it's gonna come out that he hasn't even felt his hand at all since 2018 or some shyt
