A little over 2 and a half months until the NBA starts again, so might as well start a prediction thread already. Post and discuss NBA predictions on who will win an award, predict the NBA standings, predicting the top 5 players in each position or in the NBA next season, etc. any and all predictions on what will and might happen. Whatever you wanna predict just post em and discuss.
Here are my predictions:
West standings:
1. Lakers (LWO will be number 1 seed once D12 arrives :dj2:)
2. Thunder (they are young as hell and thrive and love to play like everyday)
3. Spurs (Will always be good in the regular-season, ONLY)
4. Mavericks (Dirk is motivated and the team is much better)
5. Grizzles (Same team, has one of the best frontcourts and will be better with Bayless and Arthur returning)
6. Clippers (They got a bit older and will face injury problems that will hurt them)
7. Jazz (They finally got shooters for there system and will be good at home)
8. Nuggets (Will always make the playoffs, but other teams made better transactions in the offseason and are practically the same team)

East standings:
1. Heat (Most talented team in the East, but might phone it in after all star break and fall to 2nd seed)
2. Celtics (Got younger, deeper, and better)
3. Pacers (Are one of the most balanced teams in the league)
4. Knicks (They should be no worse than a 4th seed with the roster and how weak the East is after the Heat and the Celtics)
5. Nets (The backcourt is gonna be great, and have other really good pieces)
6. Wizards (Wall will finally reach his full potential and Beal will beast and the environment is much better for the Wiz Kids)
7. Bulls (Thibs will not fukk with re-building and will get most out of his squad, plus the East is a bit weak still)
8. 76ers (They should tank to try to get a big like Zeller, but they really didn't make any big acquisitions)

Award predictions:
MVP: Kobe & Nash or Kobe & D12 will be named Co-MVP's :stylin:
ROTY: Unibrow
DPOTY: ?
6th Man Of The Year: Marshon Brooks (nikka gonna be shooting as much times as he wants to on the bench) :pachaha:
Most Improved Player: Evan Turner (With starter minutes I'm sure he will get, he will improve dramatically in every area)
Coach Of The Year: :whoo: :pachaha:

Honor predictions:
1st Team All NBA: Westbrook, Kobe, Durant, Lebron, D12
2nd Team All NBA: Nash, CP3, Melo, Love, Dirk
3rd Team All NBA: Rondo, D-Will, Wade, LMA, Bynum
All Rookie 1st team: Lillard (Blazers), Beal (Wizards), MKG (Bobcats), Zeller (Cav's) (Kyrie is gonna make him look like a beast and is really skilled too and even though I hope it doesn't happen, but I think T-Rob is looking like a bust :sadbron:) Davis (Hornets)

8. Nuggets (Will always make the playoffs, but other teams made better transactions in the offseason and are practically the same team)
.

why is this a bad thing? it's not like the Nugs have any glaring weakness that they didn't address or that they peaked as a unit. with the addition of AR15, a healthy Wilson Chandler and J-Ham looking to get burn, we actually have too much depth.

Something tells me the Nuggets will be a top 5 team in the West.

And of course I got the Lakers winning it all. Idk if they'll be first in the standings, but I expect them to beast in the playoffs.

Playoffs

First round

EAST
Heat vs Boston (miami in 6 boston cannot keep up with heat)
76ers vs Bucks (76ers in 5 bucks give them a little trouble in game 4 to survive for one night)
Pacers vs Bulls ( Bulls in 7 drose helps ALOT)
Brooklyn vs knicks (knicks in 7 inner city battle)

WEST
OKC vs SPURS (okc in 6 same thing like the celtics except with okc)
Lakers vs warriors (Lakers in 7 when everyone is healthy for warriors they are dangerous)
Clippers vs twolves (twolves in 7 brandon roy k-love and rubio is a VERY solid big 3 when healthy not to mention derrick williams and their big european center)
Nuggets vs Grizzlies (nuggets in 6, andre igoudala and rudy gay go at it every single GAME its a match up for ages)

Conference Semis

East
Miami vs Knicks (miami in 6 except unexpectedly iman shumpert and dwade go at it (2 chi town born players!!) in games 3, 4, 5, and 6 as amare and chris bosh go at it in 1, 2 if ur asking urself where is melo lebron LOCKS HIM UP)
76ers vs Bulls (bulls in 5 derrick rose is on a mission he and evan turner go at it (chi town born players!!))

WEST
OKC vs NUGGETS (okc in 7 this is harder than it seems because of the nuggets dept and okc lack of dept. kd gives iggy everything he can handle but ultimately the nuggets fail to contain westbrook because lawson is too small and they cant score inside with ibaka and kp)
Lakers vs twolves ( lakers in 7 kobe plays limited minutes kobes knees are catching up with him and brandon roys year off is paying off but dwight howard and steve nash's pick and roll is too good for rubio and twolves center rubio is caught learning from steve nash andd klove is learning from pau gasol)

Conference Finals

EAST
Miami vs Bulls {OMG this was very hard (Heat in 7 dwade and derrick go at it EVERY GAME im talking like drose 38 and 8ast dwade 44 4 and 4 lebron does his usual 28 8 and 8reb chris bosh and boozer both get 18 and 8 and luol deng is 24 8 and 4 but drose is not at 100percent and he cant hold on in game 7 miami wins in a blowout) dwades shoulder problems are coming back a little}

WEST
OKC vs Lakers (OKC in 6 this is easier than it seems because steve nash cannot stay in front of westbrook kobes knee issues from the last series makes him unable to stop harden and no one can stop KD serge is cleaning EVERYTHING inside and that means dwight too because the thunder are clogging the middle with a line up of harden or westbrook-durant-pj3-ibaka-kp dwight does have 48pts 18rebounds 4ast 4stls and 8blks in game 6)

FINALS
Miami Heat VS. Oklahoma City Thunder
(Lebron james after having an average playoff run gets the haters off his back and averages 44 8 and 8 with 4stls and 2blks in the FInals leading them to back to back titles harden and westbrook show up this time except kd finds himself in a shotting slump and avg 24ppg on 38% and 28 from three) Lebron is named Finals MVP for back to back years being the first player to be MVP DPOY and FInals MVP.
