I can't knock that opinion (I do still play Stillmatic and HHID though). But I hope everyone remembers out of all of this that the internet is not reflective of reality. It's funny as shyt to me to watch and that's probably the only reason I still come on this board. It's like all these caricatures that magnify the worst aspects of various fan bases and people I'm certain would struggle to articulate themselves in real life who cling onto some e-groupthink to fit in and air out grievances that usually boils down to "not relating and not fitting in" outside of the internet if you look under the cover. They "overstand." Look at TLR and then look at who those people stan here musically and it's pretty funny looking at the glaring contradictions and to see why people are mad. If I was a film major, I could write a screen play on this.

The quality of someone's posts are judged by the extent to which you identify with their emotions instead of how sound or well-researched their opinion is. The only reason I voted for Nas stans is because they are the largest contingent on here and as such they embody more of the PAWG-lovin, e-militant, self-righteous, hypocritical, uncompromising, uninformed, reactionary, smart dumb overgeneralizing ethos than any other group. They're like every dude we gave the side eye to in college rolled into one whenever they post about music. The other fan bases really only have like 2 dudes carrying their flag.
