optogenetics is changing the game...

I went to a talk a few months ago where they were just doing some of the coolest shyt ever...using lasers to turn genes on and off of certain cells.

shyt was just fukking nuts.

well god damn that was a fukin impressive year.
Half that shyt both scares and amazes the living shyt out of me.

In june they learned how to replicate quantum teleportation, in December they broke a new record of 25 KM...or roughly 15 miles. 6 months...
