Thanks breh. Think we need to fill holes in FA so we can go BPA in the draft.
I think there is a really good chance we go offense or BPA if we stay at 27. we have been drafting BPA for a while now and that is largely responsible IMO for the nice drafts we've had. if they stick with that and go BPA, I think that could very well be RB, OL and maybe DB/DT.

now, it could be a corner if they feel Peters isn't a big character risk (I don't think they will like him though) or if a guy like Kevin Johnson rises enough to be worth the 27th. I love Johnson and he is officially one of my pet cats. The guy is a terrific football player and is much better than his 40 yard dash says (4.52). He is long, has great football intelligence and is as good in the locker room as he is on the field. Johnson might end up more as a early 2nd round guy more than a late first, but if they like him enough (I think they will love him), they could just take him a little early at 27 if they can't move back a bit.

with Thompson and Phil Dawson (horrible combine) not looking to be anywhere near a first round pick, I don't think OLB is a consideration at 27. even if they did great in Indy, I still would have concerns about going 43 OLB in the first round. Jimmy Johnson didn't like to do it, and neither do I.

I don't think it will be MLB either, although Perryman is a beast. his combine will keep him out of the first though.

DT is a position that I'd gladly do at 27 if Marinelli likes someone enough (like Bennett). however, I doubt Dallas will like him enough to take him there but I for sure could be wrong about that. Bennett intrigues me and he does have 3-tech skills (although his is no Aaron Donald, for sure) but I just don't know if he's explosive enough to warrant a late first round pick when we already have a good 3-tech in Crawford. if he impresses Dallas enough, I think they could go there though, so don't hold me to this. no DT is going to get more than about 40 or so snaps for Marinelli because he believes so much in keeping guys fresh in a rotation. Bennett might be just what they want there to rotate with Crawford. Marinelli would probably play both Bennett and Crawford when the team is in the nickle in addition to rotating at the 3-tech, so yes I think a DT could be the choice at 27.

on offense, I can see Gurley or Gordon being BPA by a mile at 27. If Dallas goes that way I will not complain. Drafting well like they have been will push you to take positions you weren't really planning on. that's the way to do it and I won't selectively complain about doing it the right way.

If an OL like La'el Colling, TJ Clemmings, or Ereck Flowers is sitting at 27 any one of them might be BPA big-time and cause Dallas to go that way. I doubt it happens because they really do want defense but it could happen if he is rated high enough to make Dallas pull the trigger.
