They must have gotten told to kick rocks by Archie Miller early on in the process. I was lurking on pack pride yesterday, it seems most people didn't think they were getting him anyway

Yeah they knew Archie wasn't coming weeks before they announced the Keatts hire.

Moton turned down the Arkansas St. job, too.

Wow, he did? Must've been a lifestyle issue, I'd imagine. I don't know where in Arkansas that is, but I'd imagine it's a far cry from Durham. Shame VCU didn't look at him when replacing Will Wade.

Yeah he did...I think it probably was a lifestyle issue as you said... that's what the homie was talkin' about in his post a few pages back, asking why Moton should go to Arkansas St. when it could be a culture shock and he'd abandon everything he has built in Durham (on and off the court).

I wouldn't have been mad if he took the Ark. St. job because it's the Sun Belt and it was reportedly a huge pay increase. But as I said earlier, Moton has plenty of time and if he keeps winning, he'll get a much better mid major offer that's more desirable all the way around.
