It really just dawned on me when I was out in Brixton last week and the majority of music was from UK artists. UK artists have provided nothing but bangers for a few years now; and of course have inspired the biggest American rapper: Drake

I'm 32 and never heard or see this wave of talent in my whole life. IMO it'll be defined as our Golden Era

A few samples of tracks are as follows - I can't even remember them all. UK man, feel free to add on and celebrate our bredrins

US brehs feast on something different from the other side of the Atlantic. I feel we've stopped looking for verification from the US gate keepers and now are making our own lane with some of the tracks, especially with the UK Afrobeat tracks

AJ Tracey x Dave Santan - Thiago Silva

Dave Santan x Drake - Wanna Know Remix

Dave x J MoStack - No Words

Krept & Konan - Wo Wo Wooooooo

67 x Giggs - Let's Lurk

Nines - Trapper of the Year

Giggs x Donaeo - Lock Doh

Giggs - Whippin Excursion

Stormy - Big for Your Boots

Kojo Funds x Fredo x Yxg Bane x Frisco x JME - Dun Talking

Not3s - Addison Lee

J HUS - Did You See

Yang Bane x Kojo Funds - Fine Wine

Hope the trend continues in 2018 :blessed:

Tbh it's uk afrobeat ,and dance-hall blowing up more than grime, and hip hop. Obviously in the UK there's a fine line, and all influence each other but still.

UK rapbis too, but as much as UK afrobeat though.

Giggs, 67, Section Boyz and Stormzy all flames up in the year
