Without Bron he had another two years at best of 25ppg, then the bottom would've fallen out...
His career would have been viewed differently. He'd get his flowers as a 1x champ the way Dirk and Garnett do, but he wouldn't be given the stature he has now, without Bron coming to Miami...

Giving it to someone who won 17 fewer games remains stupid
List all the dudes that won MVP their first year on a new team and that new team won fewer games than the year before. If he wanted MVP, going to a team with the reigning back to back MVP probably isnt the place to go.

Forcing his way there has nothing to do with people saying he stacked the deck. The Warriors winning a chip and 140 games and beating KDs team after being down 3-1 and then choking away would shoulda been a second straight chip is where that comes from.
They just had the best record in the league by an even bigger margin than GSW did and neither was even top 5 in MVP voting. We would have to concur that if a great player joined them and they actually won fewer games there is no way that player wins MVP.
