Thats top secret information
From Killer Mike looking crazy for going extra hard to back Bernie Sanders to David Banner constanly making himself look like a 'smart dumb' nikka to KRS defending AfriKa Bambatta to Dead Prez , Saigon and Immortal Tech being non-visable during this 2016 election(unlike how they were during the 2008 presidential election ).

I've concluded that 2016 has put the nail in the coffin of political rappers

So Killer Mike loses his credibility as a political rapper by getting involved in politics?
Bernie overall had the right plan.

:stopitslime:

Dude was promoting a panderer when he shoulda just promoted voting.. Plus backing Bernie gave the impression that all hip-hop heads should get behind a panderer.

Plus KM did all that for nothing, Bernie stepped down and started backing the same woman he was just weeks ago bashing.

Bernie pretty much spit in the face of KM's effort, Bernie played dude out to the point were KM shoulda just backed Hilary since Bernie is.

Political Rap isn't dead, nor will it ever die.
Hardcore Rap is now being infused with political messages as most of these hardcore/trap rappers speak to and for the individuals who are more influenced and worried about "political" messages.

Political rap in the form of Dead Prez is definitely never going to be allowed to make radio, its too potentially influential for todays political environment in America.
but if you do some research, you'll see that only in America is "political rap" held down. in foreign nations, there rappers openly speak out on and against political injustices and issues.

This is what you get from Coli political discussion.
Sanders didn't win, but he gained clout through the strength of his campaign. shytting on Clinton burns that clout to the ground.
Focus now shifts to down ticket candidates. Getting Democratic Socialists into office across the country. Getting Sanders into the Whitehouse would hAve been great in that it would have bypassed much of the slow moving groundwork, but his campaign thrust his political ideology into the mainstream.

Pandering :heh: Bernie been preaching the same thing decades before he even ran for President. And the only reason he ran was because he couldn't talk Elizabeth Warren into running.

Nah breh,

Bernie just became a history lesson point. it's evidence released by Wikileaks stating that Bernie feared for his life and this may have been the reason he supported Hilary.

not only that, but the Wikileaks drop before this last one showed how Bernie's entire campaign was undercut by Hilary. I don't trust Bernie, and I don't think he is the answer to fix American issues. but Bernie is good in the eyes of his supporters as well as those who are anti-establishment. they do feel and believe he's the answer.

Its death of the political rapper because TOO many representatives keep doing things to make them not look serious like when Flava Flav started doing reality tv.

Wrong.

He flip-flopped.

He went from Bashing Hilary during the campaign to backing her afterbacking out. Leaving Killer Mike and all the other Bernie supporters hanging

Did he really flip flop though or did he just play the game? Of course, he was going to back her in order to keep unity (or the appearance of unity) within the party to ensure a Democratic win. He had some great ideas, but those ideas actually being put into practice is whole other fight. We have a Congress that tries to undermine every idea presented by Democrats simply because a Republican majority would rather serve the Democrats an L no matter how costly it is to the country. That's what he would've been up against.

that is definitely not why the death of the political rapper is happening. because before Killer Mike and Bernie, it was numerous artists who were political in their music and never went on a tag-team campaign run.

My personal feelings on why I never gave Killer Mike no mind or paid attention to him and bernies campaign is because I personally saw it as only trying to net the black vote. that's a bullshyt tactic and I don't fukk with any rapper or politician who does that. it's a big reason why I dislike Sean Combs (referencing his bullshyt "Vote or Die" shyt).

Political rap is not allowed because record companies and radios don't push it, now I feel they don't push it because of the potential issues which can cause a lot of instability within the nation. but again, Political rap is dead for bigger reasons than "too many representatives keep doing things".
