Since the season is over, all NHL news, such as Draft and Free Agency will be posted here:

@Brozay Chicago being in eternal cap hell for those Kane and Toews contacts like I told will make it hard for them to contend :damn:

Losing Teuvo is unfortunate, but he didn't take the step he was supposed to this season

This trade was made to insure we can keep Panarin, which is paramount. So I'm satisfied with it. Hopefully keep Shaw too

Trading Teuvo could also be a preemptive pretty expansion draft move, they probably couldn't protect him

I don't put a lot into the NFL draft. It's not as big as NBA, MLB or NFL draft.
Unless you are super good, you get assigned to the farm club.

For NHL usually they send back there picks to there Junior hockey team or college team. Unless like you said they impress in training camp/pre season.

Usually top 3 picks in NHL make the squad.

Yeah, it can be four years before we see a guy who got drafted in the NHL. And even then, the team might not have room on the roster and they send him to the farm team.
I know this one guy from my hometown who played in college, and then played in semi-pros afterwards. He got called up to the NY Rangers and played a couple games before getting sent down. He never got called up again.

@Alexander The Great looks like the Panthers want to show last year wasn't a fluke, as for the Rangers, should've traded Yandle at the deadline, but we got a 4th and 6th round pick for him :beli:

when I 1st saw they were negotiating with him, I tried to look up his stats and see how good he was cuz I had no idea who he was. :pachaha: I wanted them to get a goal scorer :francis:
