If you know cuts are coming in 2027 then you have to make budgets and notify people in 2026.

If you are being given a grant then you can wait for years to study and have meetings about what to do.

It will be interesting to see what colleges do in the meanwhile. They are three years away from any major policy change back and Trump is likely to keep cutting for the next three.

Are they just going to lower the cost if less people are able to enroll? Allow more wealthy foreigner born students in?
