FORD FINALLY BROUGHT THE EXPEDITION/NAVIGATOR IN LINE TO COMPETE WITH TAHOE/SUBURBANS/ESCALADE ON STYLE. GM HAS BEEN DOMINATING THAT MARKET FOR FLEET VEHICLES FOR LIKE 10 YEARS NOW.
Exactly. GM needs competition because they have the full size SUV market cornered and they know it. No way that a $58k plus SUV shouldn't have HIDs and an 8 speed standard. I was at a GMC dealership and they had brand new GMC Yukon SLTs that had an antiquated 6 speed transmission and non HID incandescent headlights. You have to step up to a $72k plus Yukon Denali to get HIDs and an 8 speed transmission which is absurd.

LOOKING LIKE FORD IS PUSHING THEIR 10 SPEED TRANSMISSIONS NOW. I KINDA LIKE THEM. BUT YEAH HID IS A MUST AT THAT PRICE POINT. IF THINGS FALL IN LINE THIS YEAR AND I SETTLE ON A HOUSE, I MIGHT LOOK AT AN EXPEDITION.
