Sophie Turner being nominated is a joke.

Mahershala should have his category in the bag.
I don't get Turner's nom either. If she should have ever been nominated then it should have been for the season where she was forced to marry Ramsey or the season right after when she came into her own as a character.
That final season she really didn't do anything but walk around with the stinkface on in every scene.

Looks like they’re showing Thrones some love since it’s their final season cuz almost all the main actors got a nomination. I’m happy for Alfie tho cuz he should’ve been got a nomination and Emilia because she did all she could with that shyt ass writing last season.

It's up to the other actors and actresses to stand out and the Game of Thrones cast stood out. They deserve the nominations. :manny:
If that's the case why is Sophie Turner up there? :unimpressed:

And let's keep it real here....while "GOT" has a lot of talent nobody really stood out in the final season. It was by far the weakest acted season in the entire series.

But the Emmys are notorious for nominating shows well past their prime ("Dexter" and "Homeland" come to mind) just to fill out the category, so it is what it is.:yeshrug:

Fred.

They weren't "filling out" exactly. If you look each category got at least 1-2 or more names from the cast. They all acted their ass off. If there were other performances worthy of being in those categories then they would be there. Who got snubbed? I don't see anyone naming actors that should be there instead :manny:
