When looking at the latest speculation renders (released about 4 days ago) it looks like BMW let their Rolls Royce counterparts in the room for the new 7 series. Just look at that front spoiler. That's straight Rolls Royce shyt.
The days of the e38 740i M-Sport are long long long long long gone. The M5 is BMW's flagship performance car. The 7 series is setup to compete more directly with the S-Class (which has been kicking it's ass since the W220) in places like China where luxury 'limos' are the thing.
This same artist nailed the M3 5 months out from its release.
Im not excited about the grill at all
BMW's director of design said their high end shyt will all have bigger grills going forward. And the lower end shyt will have smaller.
Honestly....I think BMW is just planning for the future. The kidney shaped grill is worth BILLIONS of dollars to them. When they eventually go 100% electric the idea of a 'grill' is going to be dead since it's useless. So that's why you're starting to see it morph into an exaggerated design element.

These S-Classes with all these touch functions gonna have tons of glitches in a few years when the software can't function. You can't even turn the volume up without sliding your finger across a screen
