If the Giants view Schoen in high regard, they’re idiots. There is NO team in the NFL that would bring him in to be their GM if he was fired. That says it all right there. You’re employing a GM that literally nobody else would hire. Ridiculous.

I still say Daboll is better at what he does/did than Schoen is. If he was fired, then Schoen should be too.

Mara is just Jerry Jones with a better public persona. But shyt atleast the cowboys make the playoffs more times than not. Nepotism runs this organization. Chris Mara, O'Connell and Abrams, the 3 guys who run the player personnel are never fired no matter how many coaches and gms we go through. Let's not forget we were a joke before the league had to intervene and force George Young on wellington mara. This family knows nothing about football yet likes to cosplay as savants. I know I'm in the minority but Schoen got Nabers, traded for Spyda, and traded up for Dart, and drafted Skattebo. Im ok. GMs never get fired in the middle of a season.

I'm just happy that loser Daboll got fired.

I don’t think Schoen is truly safe and I feel they are going to go for a big name to be HC, one that could have as much or maybe more power than Schoen.

Just have to get someone in the building that doesn’t let the nepo babies influence shyt. They need someone who knows how to build and run an organization.

Yeah he drafts well and college football is already underway. It makes sense to let him stay for the draft

That is what I am thinking too. The giants got pieces and are a major market. Known coaches would come here, especially if they can hire their whole staff.

What pieces? Dart and Skat have provided energy, but they’re CTE All Stars. Half the fanbase wants Dex outta here; AT is nice, while we don’t know what Nabers looks like after an ACL. Not too mention, the media here is relentless, and the COL is insane. NFL HC’s don’t get really get endorsements like CFB coaches do. What’s the point of making $7mil in NYC, when I can make the same money in Miami with a fraction of the scrutiny?

I don’t wanna be a doomer, but this is a dead franchise barring something drastic. Even if Schoen magically gets fired this winter, this isn’t a premier job anymore. The Bengals; Dolphins, and Browns are all better HC jobs assuming those are all vacant. Bengals have a loaded offense and franchise qb(albeit injury prone one); Miami has no state tax and a HC will get a very long leash, while the Browns have a solid to good defense and a ton of picks.
