I stayed a night there two weeks ago. Didn't seem particularly dangerous but I did notice a disproportionate amount of white crackheads in the area near my hotel. The blacks in the area seemed solid though.

This is one of those stats that needs to be normalized by population.
If you are going to include traffic fatalities as a metric then of course the cities with more people/traffic will score worse.
