I'll believe it when I see it as far as Valdez. Some of these reporters say some shyt like they have a scoop and it goes into the ether. I dont feel strongly about Valdez but the numbers are good and he's a lefty. Not sure about it at that number tho.
I also can see a world where we bring back Pete and the outfield doesn't feature Bellinger or Tucker (like everyone is expecting post Nimmo trade) and I can get behind that if the rotation is fortified like this.

So it sounds like Lindor is in the trade McNeil camp and is thrilled to have a real second basemen to play with. The Lindor/Soto shyt sounds like clickbait. Just because you're teammates doesn't mean you have to be besties with somebody.

Yeah I think it was widely known that Lindor and McNeil had beef. The whole thing with Soto is overblown. Like the homie Wardy said last night, they're just two different dudes; Lindor enjoys the spotlight and being at fashion events and stuff while Soto just wants to go about his business. Nothing wrong with that. I have had co workers I didn't necessarily yuk it up with but still was able to get stuff done with.

I guess ever since Jeter and Arod, people seem to think that teammates need to be best friends to work. Both guys were 6 WAR last year. As long as they not swinging at each other in the clubhouse, I can deal with a "chilly" relationship. I'm sure the 86 Mets didn't have family picnics with each other

I remember Keith saying that a few of the dudes on the team would look at Gary Carter like
cause he was always in front of the camera and thought he was fake with the goody two shoes image. Said it took awhile for them to realize that was really how he got down, but obviously it didn't affect them on the field.

Totally was Nimmo.
Season ends and no locker room turmoil reported. Almost every coach is fired, still nothing. Nimmo gets traded now a story breaks. What a shame.
