Didn't have the same edge or quality as his debut but this was def Nelly's peak.

I was born in 92 and I remember Nelly being inescapable when this album came out. Dilemma and Hot N Here got played everywhere from Hot 97 to pop stations in the mall and everybody knew the lyrics. And the band-aid in the face was getting jocked too.

It was still a drop from his 1st one in quality though. He started to lose that edge.

I loved Country Grammer. I was pumped for Nellyville.

But it came and went and didn't live up to the hype for me

Hot in Here was a jam that quickly got played out, same as Dilemma.

Roc the mic remix was 🔥 I also enjoyed pimp juice

but the album just didn't stack up to his last for me
I remember being in high school everybody dissing Country Grammer but I thought that shyt was dope

I remember the Nellyville album getting an album of the year nomination from the Grammys. This was back before rap albums getting major nominations wasn't a norm

Came and went? What. That album had 5 singles spread out the next six months. I remember Air Force ones at Halloween parties and Pimp juice at college campuses fall 2002. That album had legs and was played constantly followed by a huge ass tour. Maybe it’s different in the Midwest but that album and the Eminem show, Cam’Ron’s come home with me, Lil Flip underground legend, Clipse Lord Willin, Scarface the fix, all those albums. I heard all summer here in Naptown.
