Yes I would. But at this point in my life I wouldn’t even interview for anything that didn’t meet my desired salary requirements. I ask about pay within the first 2 minutes of the convo.
I can respect it. But it sounds like you have the resume to demand a higher salary. I'm talking about the ones that want that higher salary but don't have any skills to back it up.

GET SOME DAMN SKILLS!!! Never stop acquiring skills.

I learned that professional development should be continuous throughout your life. As long as you live, you should learn.

I earned my Masters 2 years ago. I’m taking the exam for a BA (business analyst) certification this Friday. Next month I’m going for my PMP (project management).

I don’t care if it’s just a certificate from Udemy. Formal training/education should always be in your plans.

I wasn't/ain't in the boonies
and that's decent money for a single person with no kids over here and many other places throughout America.

Hell, airline pilots' base salary is only $10k more.

Notice I said 'decent', not 'great' or anything. You won't be struggling and you can save money/stack loot.
How much of your income can your comfortably and consistently save though?

People be surprised that many Americans are not even making that

fukk many. Most Americans aren't cracking that. The higher end raises the average but majority of Americans aren't making $21 an hour. Hell, gas stations around here tryna hire for $13/14 and there's another face in there every month.

Why aren't most Americans cracking that? Are they not obtaining the necessary skills?

shyt, in Phoenix, $21 would be a pretty sizeable raise for a lot of people. It's plenty of people in general that will probably never see that type of money.
Cap, with how rent exploded in the valley these past few years, if your making that your living with roommates and still spending a majority of your monthly income on rent.

Been here since 2009, breh.

I was living that life too, breh. I think the apartment I was splitting with my roommate was something like $750-800. That same place is $2000+ now.

Happy as hell that I don't have to deal with the rent market at all these days.

That's what I'm confused about. There's a lot of pushback in here when I know alot of people aren't even making $21 an hour and are managing to get by. It just comes down to lifestyle choices. But the cheat code is to find a compatible partner that makes the same or more. That's how you truly flourish out here.
