on the hoffa podcast, he claimed his father didn’t take care of him and his mother but he took care of his other family…said his pops wouldn’t even so much as pay his phone bill growing up which was like $20/mo. at the time…he didn’t shyt on him to the point of calling him a complete deadbeat cuz he recognized his father was taking care of his second family but he did make it clear that him and his mother had to struggle abroad with no help from him

from my perspective he’s too old to be feeding into it but my perspective is limited…in the social media age who knows what impact that interview has had on him with ppl looking at him as not being responsible enough to take care of his son, etc…it’s easy for me to say ignore it, but I’ve never been in a situation where my character has been called into question before such a wide audience of ppl

Same story different country. A child's resentment of their father based on truth, lies, and misunderstandings. What I will say though is, 21 did mention that his mom did not keep his dad away from him (verbally anyway). But physically, when your dad isn't around you start seeing the older guys in the neighborhood as a "father figure" type character. Eventually you stop reaching out to somebody that ain't around. Also based on pictures, the dad was very much in his other son and daughters life.
