22 & under posters: do HS yearbook pics still come in black & white?

My HS always had it where seniors were in color and that's it. I got snagged my freshmen book from '04 and it was that way all the way back then.

I graudated in 2012 and we didn't have color til my last year cuz the school was so damn broke

I'm a lot older than 22 and my HS yearbook was in color. The school I actually graduated from definitely wasn't running a surplus , what's going on where yall live? Is it a matter of tradition?

Before my freshman year, when I was in 8th grade my school was finna get took over by the govt or some shyt cuz of bad test grades. Plus it didnt help that that same year a student got shot on campus.

I guess that was they way on punishing us

Well, I'm not from the burbs. Middle school was in all black & white. HS had some color pages, but the portraits were all B&W. And yes, only seniors got yearbooks because they were only for and about the graduating class. Never heard of yearbooks for underclassmen.
