His discipline, patience, and batter’s eye were just unmatched. Pre steroids (as in skinny early 90’s era) he had seasons with twice as many walks as strikeouts. Once he bulked up in 2000, he basically didn’t get anything to hit if he came up with men on.His eyes were keen and the fact he had wild patience at the plate was hof in itself. He didn't swing out side the zone at all. Also Bonds had the most simplest approach to hitting a baseball I've ever heard.
