Yeah, when my family did their DNA test, this is consistent with what they saw.

i'm 90% Sub Saharan DNA according to Ancestry DNA ...i personally think I look about 95-98% based purely on phenotype and i'm fully AA with my family's roots in the deep south

But I think alot of the AA's that do take the test though, have an look ambiguous enough that interests them enough to even want to be tested just to see. In otherwords someone "black" may have a lot of caucasian or other ancestry--and therefore may have a greater interest in wanting to be tested which my skew the numbers.

Multiple entities for years have put the numbers in the ballpark of 75/20 on average. For those of you who don't believe it, I don't know why. They all saying pretty much the same thing, they can't all be lying...

20%% is really high that means (In my uneducated opinion) you have recent White ancestry or the intermingling during slavery was so widespread that almost all black people in this country had and ancestor affected by it.
