Imagine being a physical therapist, having a bachelors in kineseology, and still having to go out for a run to realize that a $24 shoe is probably not meant for real athletic performance.........:skip:

You can run in some bullshyt. You can also spend $250+ on whatever is your favorite brand (Nike, brooks, Asics, on cloud, hoka) and still get your feet fukked up after a single run.

I have so many sneakers, mostly retro J's and nike's, but it hard for me not to wear my asics GT 2160's everyday. they're so comfortable.

The popular Avia model sold at Walmart is actually a repurposed version of the New Balance 530. They’re affordable, and make excellent everyday beaters.

I don’t know about these Walmart joints, but I think it’s a good thing that people realize they don’t have to spend obscene amount of money on brand shoes :hubie:

Functional sneaker > status symbols

530s and Gel Kayano 14s became popular for a reason

Price IS relevant to comfort when it comes to athletic performance. Especially at that price point. Not knowing that when it pertains to running shoes used for running as a sport is #FatBoyBabble... :camby:
People buying that stuff ain't doing it for athletic performance

People buying Jordans to stunt, not for athletic performance

Retro Jordans are not a good example. they are good looking sneakers that held the test of time.

but those moon boots balenciaga sneakers, ppl use those to stunt especially w/ the cost of them being $700+

True.

But I bought some $50 Puma and they been holding me down for two years and I wear them under ANY conditions.

I just clean them and they brand new.

Sneakers ain't that hard/expensive to make.
