The point that I was trying to convey is that you'll never see me talking about how many points someone on my squad got in a losing effort. Not suggesting everyone share that sentiment but to me if Klay got 37 in a quarter in a losing effort its nothing to keep bringing up after that night.This doesn't make sense. You don't acknowledge points in a losing effort because why? They're meaningless? That's ridiculous. That entire game at OKC changed when Durant fouled out, they were up 5(with free throws coming) before he fouled out. They struggled to get consistent scoring afterwards and clearly had troubles getting a good look in crunch time because Warriors just smoothered Westbrook. Can't really say it's one guy's fault for the losing effort if he's doing his part.
You can also dismiss guys like Anthony Davis like that. I realize there's stat padders out there on certain losing teams, but not every player is just putting up stats because of they're on a losing team, sometimes it's just the lack of help that's hurting.
