Dude only pays 350 a month on his student loans during the current freeze?
:mjlol:
Plus he works in tech yet not knocking down debt asap. I hope he realizes those high tech salaries have a very short shelf life usually.

First time hearing the shelf life thing.
The good old days in tech are long gone. You won't see such huge salaries nor abundance in open jobs for a very long time.

It's cyclical. 2001, 2008, now 2022. Doom and gloom about the prospects for a lil while then it bounces right back. We just came out of one of the biggest booms since I been in the industry. People making $400k+ , new grads getting $150k offers, etc. The overall economy is hurting right now so it's to be expected hiring and salaries will stagnant until it bounces back

Why do you guys read one article and think on one fell swoop because of one person’s opinions things are going to change overnight?

And this article isn’t even specifically referring to salaries. Also it’s a month old. Last week there’s articles about all those inflation talks cooling down and the highest employment rates in decades.

This dude is an idiot with his money. If he took the 2k he was using to eat out and applied it to his 7K CC debt he could have that paid off in a few months. Also, he's barely putting away 200 for savings with a salary of 130 he should be putting away way more than that.

You can still have fun and enjoy life while being smart and responsible with your money.

We'll see who's right sooner rather than later. All I need to do is look at the amount of job openings shrinking. Along with what tons of people complaining on sites like Blind about the job market. I used to get hit up by Recruiters damn near every day. Now you're lucky to hear from one every other month.
