Some motherfukkers are still pushing that talking point about covid only adversely impacting the

Khamzat Chimaev was a professional athlete in the prime of his life who many thought would be the next UFC welterweight champion. His scheduled fight versus Leon Edwards, originally slated for December 19th, was first pushed back because both guys contracted covid. Edwards had no real issues. Chimaev, on the other hand, was clearly damaged causing the fight to be delayed even further.

Yeah, he debuted professionally in 2018. He just got signed to the UFC July of last year. He had 3 UFC fights in only a few months. All three were finishes and all three garnered him performance of the night bonuses.

If that is what I think that is (Blood in the sink) then I think he should retire because the COVID has compromised him enough I think he caught COVID a couple times each a different variant so if he lost I would automatically give it to COVID. Watch his stuff his potential was amazing in multiple weight classes maybe with time he can come back but even still I would say COVID compromised him.
