It's February, which means it's black history month. I want to showcase 28 rock, punk, numetal, or Trip Hop groups with black frontmen/women, or guitar players.

As people we are more than just Hip Hop, and personally I listen to alot more than just rap music, especially when I'm working out...

Day 1
Bloc Party
Frontman - Kele Okereke
Song - Helicopter
Album - Silent Alarm

Ever heard of Fleshwater? They're one of my favorite bands and I just discovered them last year. They got one Black member but he shreds on the guitar

Great post :salute:

As a fan of 80s UK post punk scenes my musical pallette was shaped by that time. Every band that had black members of had entirely black bands made feel ok gravitating towards music that didn't have a traditional black fanbase. The Ska/Reggae bands like Specials,Fun Boy Three,Aswad,UB40(before they went karaoke),The Clash,The Jam, Killing Joke etc. I wish there had been more all black bands in that time.

In. :ahh: .... I've always listened to rock, but I was never invested into it like hip hop so I have little contact with black led rock beyond your Jimmy Hendrix, Lil Richard, and more recently Duckwrth. Always been meaning to explore it, but this will be perfect cause I know we already got the natural soul make something sound great.:blessed:
