I procrastinate a lot too.

So in order to stay on track i always structure my days. Have a plan and stick to it. And if you actually apply yourself for a few months following the plan will become habit. You won't even have to try anymore.

Also work in teams if you can. I find that when i work alone i don't get nearly as much done cuz i don't have anyone to hold me accountable. When i bring other people into my network its a lot easier to go hard cuz you know at the end of the day your team members are gonna wanna know what you got done.

Inspo vids and all that shyt are bullshyt and just another form of procrastination.

Make a to-do list per day of what you need to get completed, or per week: keep it somewhere practical to you, i.e. I use sticky notes in my bedroom and have a chalk board in my home office so I'm reminded everywhere I am, but you can also download an app for it with reminders, implement it into your calendar, or use programs like Smartsheet or Trello (trello is really good).

When you dedicate a day per week of laying out what needs to be accomplished and it looks practical and achievable, your anxiety will decrease and productivity will increase. Be real with what you can accomplish per day; if you give yourself one jam-packed day, give yourself other lighter days, etc. Maintain balance.

In work mode, I've always used the method of 53 minutes of work, 17 min break -- really maintains productivity.

It's all about practical planning and sticking to the plan. Not oprah bullshyt about what u wish u could do.

Sometime you have to find it in yourself to push yourself to be successful. If you build a house on sand and it falls; do you just leave your house broked and be homeless and quit; or will you build your house again on a sturdy foundation so you can have shelter.

When you get complacent and you dont want to do
shyt; just think like this: do I want to be like this next year or the year after that or the year after that. What motivated me was how I grew up; poor ass fukk, homeless, no clothes, no food and I slept of the floor for more than half of my life; I'm 28. My real first bed was when I went to college at 20; I was happy as fukk just to have a bed and I kept my room clean as fukk. I was the only one in my family that had to sleep on the floor; didn't have shyt to eat. Just keep grinding because I'm not going back to sleeping on the floor, no clothes or money and no food.

THIS. Having a schedule actually written out keeps you on track and helps stop you from bullshytting. You'll be amazed at how much you can get done in 2 hours that you would have spent playing video games or posting on the Coli.
