Horrible tragedy that still has a lot of questions to be answered. If I'm reading between the lines or trying to make this make sense, I think what happened is Ashlee and the guy with her are walking down the street. The Mercedes got too close to them, and the guy with Ashlee hit the car out of being annoyed (This is all speculation, but the only thing that makes it make sense for the car to stop and someone to get out with a gun). Passenger gets out with his gun in response. Guy with Ashlee pulls a gun from Ashlee's purse and they have a shootout, Ashlee gets hit and dies.
