Speaking of feeding, I give restaurants one chance but I will not stand for subpar treatment and I certainly believe in supporting black businesses. I won't restrict my options unnecessarily though.

If I ever find myself in some hick town I'm cooking all my own stuff.

And don't think that just because you see a brotha or sista in a restaurant that it's safe.
I went to Dennys last month to pick up some grub for the fam and a sista took my to-go order.
I'm sittin in the waiting area for my food which should have taken no more than 10 minutes to make (small order).
I'm watching cac after cac family come in and her jumping like a bean with an ear-to-ear grin to serve them.
10 minutes go by...
15 minutes go by...
20 minutes go by...

So I ask, "Where's my food, it should have been done 10 minutes ago!?!?"
She gives me attitude and saunters over to the pick-up window, grabs my food (which HAD been in the pick up window for the last 10 minutes) strolls back over and says "Oh, here you go"...and runs off to chase cacs.

The only reason that I didn't have her ass written up is because even with as much of a cac simpin negrette as she is...I still don't wanna see her fired.
Who knows...she may wake up one day.

I have no stomach for bad service from a white or black restaurant. This is why I patronize but so many places. But luckily, North Jersey has no shortage of restaurants in all price ranges and ethnicities so places will go out of their way to please you for the most part.
