What is the difference between everyday people and mental giants? Its all about understanding things on a innate universal level. The universe runs in 3 dimensions, picture it in your head. We tend to view things in 2 dimensions. 3D thinking refers to the understanding that everything is connected in a system where endless things factor into each other. Its a sphere, where regions cover general topics, and the farther out you go the more random and insignificant things become. In the core there are no general regions that cover a topic or a part of a topic. Its just one thing, the root of everything, that we don't know. Then theres the main aspects which branch from the true one core, and these then branch outward to different sections, etc. The 3D thinking concept is built around this idea of seamless flow, continuity, that rules the universe. Everything is related, just in farther and farther areas.

2D thinking is linear. Its point A to point B. For example, lets look at life. At first we thought lifeforms were simply placed here. We also thought they are as they are, completely different and never changing. But we found that life is all related in that its all made from genes, which are made from proteins, which are made from amino acids, which are made from elements, which are made from sub-atomic particles, and so on. Basically, it all branches out from each other.

Now you may have realized that my sphere idea could be replicated simply by drawing a 2d circle. The idea of 3D thinking isn't meant to be taken literally, in reality its more about big picture thinking vs detail oriented (in a way). Its understanding that everything is connected, not that everything is what it is and that's all. We always go though this process where we discover something, then categorize it, then sub-categorize it, and by then we realize "hey, this entire subject is really all from one thing, and we understand it better by taking what we know about this and that, and applying it to this.

Ok I gotta go but let me say this. If we learn to think of things 3d, we can predict the future. How did ancient scientists infer things about the world that we are just now discovering with technology? They understand how the universe works and how to learn from it. Its all a system, make like the universe and think like it.

unrelated to the OP, 3D visualizations during meditation can greatly increase your rate of manifestation.

good post too though
