How about you just play the damn game? You can complain about minor exploits all you want...that 99% of ppl ain't changing because you want a 100% basketball sim. It's 98% sim, good enough
That's like my cousins yesterday bytching about me "spamming" in MK X. Like I told them, if you're too stupid to stop it then that's on you
. It's rare to find an unstoppable exploit in any game now days
mkx is made where it has ways to stop spamming etc. sure their may be a full blown xploit in there but its nothing like 2k games. NOTHING.
if you get caught in the corner on mkx and the guy is giving you that work. you can wakeup late vs popping up on que o he can continue the onslaught. or you have multiple ways of breaking the combo with a non block break or blocking and breaking the combo. Thats called BALANCED. not necessary an exploit.
2k on the other hand. is the worse. its not even close to basketball for a lot of the game. and online play is so bad. its literally you trying to beat the lag. not the person.
for example i finally figured out why when i take a charge(clear charge) on someone sometimes it gives me the charge call and other times the offensive player does this wrap around the back animation while the guys body goes by your defender(nothing you can do when that animation starts).
^^^that only happens when your opponent is either intentionally or unintentionally lagging the game. There is no plan B to stop that.
The animations when people use the hands up defense(especially in the paint) go crazy with any sort of lag when playing someone else online. You can be a very small guy going up against a high ranking big man already in the air for a layup or dunk. but just because its lagging and you have your hands up. it may make you crumble to the ground for a no call and the ball drops. This happens way to often and there is no counter for it.
if you got a switch to have a little playing defense on your big. its abuse time. but you cant even do that because of this exploit. and yes the higher you get in ranked games or MY team playoff rounds. the worse it gets.
This is what i'm talking about. Thats why i ask, is it actually fun to abuse exploits more so than actually attempting to play basketball with the game? I'm curious.
I know people want to win. but is winning always going to trump actual FUN. yes you can have fun even when you lose when you know it was a legit game and you took that L fair and square.. but when you know you just lag glitched or abused all sorts of exploits do you even get the same FUN factor? thats all i'm asknig. I mean there are dudes really pumping their chest about their records or how good they are knowing they cant actually play basketball with the game. and no excuses YOU CAN play basketball with this game if you want to. its a choice you make. dont abuse exploits and play the game straight up or abuse like crazy.
