Pac's legacy is so great because of the fact that he died at such a young age, in his prime, when he still had "goals" and "messages" to spread- and his death involved/impacted the hip hop industry so greatly.

biggie, MLK, malcolmX (not comparing here) are also examples of this. men who had so much more to do in this world but left early, so their legacy are carried on and around (whether inadvertently or not)

Those people usually commit that and leave people grieving. But we're talking about a famous star whose demise came about because of nefarious affiliation and dangerous, self-induced life choices. Death is an escape if you have a terminal illness that causes you great pain and suffering. If something horrific happens to you and you have no control over it, then yes, death is an escape, Being sad and depressed because you don't have any friends or money is just being melodramatic.
