They could have just kept the belt on Matt and started the Jeff feud with a title match this week and had the Gauntlet match be for the #1 contender to whichever Hardy came out of tonight with the belt.

watching his career moves, I think TNA could have had Jim Ross. Of course, they don't even want to pay wrestlers, so there's that.

JR would be a really nice get and actually contribute in a position that really needs help. And it would be less work for JR to do commentary with Matthews than with Josh Barnett who is just disgustingly bad.
