a trainer today will watch pernell whitaker vs azumah nelson and tell you that azumah nelson has bad footwork because he is just walking in. then that trainer will look at you with all seriousness and tell you that pernell whitaker also has bad footwork because he is crossing his feet. do not become another victim of this ridiculous dogma.

when sebastian fundora has that jab out and he takes a step back; you have to walk through his step back. you have to walk through it like azumah nelson, like sandy saddler. you can't set your feet and stop, set your feet and stop, you will never get past that step back with that.

where do i fukking begin

elijah garcia is really pissing me off with his lack of discipline.....mfr busted my remaining parlays after itauma-franklin..he lost to a mfr who had to be swore at by roy jones to actually fight!!

big gug (i.e gristle) getting a TKO in a sloppy ass fight...ok i guess lol

hernandez becomes the first man to stop gausha...gausha didnt win a second of this fight..he got beat on until the ref stepped in on some early stoppage shyt in round 4...a lot of ppl complained but be real gausha was catching fades and it was only a matter of time he was going to go down anyways...they need to stop putting gausha on these cards...hernandez needs a 160 title shot soon before he outgrows or goes to 168

tellez vs mendoza started off struggle then after a vicious headbutt by mendoza fukked up tellez..tellez fought harder and it turned into a war of attrition...both guys cut and bleeding...it was really alarming how both guys looked cooked at the end of 10 rounds...it was a close fight but the judges thought otherwise...nikkas were lunchin hard...bad scores...i also dont see much of a future going forward for either guy

thurman vs fundora was sad...the last of the pbc 147 generation fell in a brutall ass kicking...fundora wobbled his ass 5 secs into the fight which set the tone for the stalking, pressure, jabbing and eventual beatdown...keith couldn't get past the jab and is not a strong in fighter...he got tired and got hands put on him....man was hit so hard that he had more smoke for the ref who likely saved him from a brutal KO and serious injury...i never seen keith get busted up like that and its sad....all the inactivity and injuries caught up to one time...one time was only in name and selling point only..fundora set the tone that his strengths and dimensions are going to be a mfr to deal with now that he learned to fight behind a jab

this was the worst offering pbc put on ppv in a min...this really shows that the no budget thing going with them on prime...this should have been free for prime...and stop putting tim tszyu fights on the free version lol...pbc mindheld need to get this shyt together fast

Going to the fight the other day was the first time I was stunned by a PBC promotion. The majority of PBC events I've gone to in Vegas have been big events but this one, they had the entire top balcony of the MGM covered up. This is an arena that holds around 16.5K to 17K seats and yet most of the arena was blocked off and that speaks volumes about the amount of interest this fight had but it looms large when the company is only doing like 4-5 events a year and forcing consumers to pay for PPV to see all of them.

It truly feels like they are trying to do things that worked in the past in a modern era without the resources they had in the past to build fighters through Showtime. The one thing I could always say about PBC in the past is that they always had the biggest events. They were the events everyone wanted to be at..........Maybe they didn't have the best prospects but they built guys into stars. It seems they're no longer capable of doing that without the resources they had in the past.

They need to badly go on Netflix

the Fundora from last night would have given Bud trouble. but at the time they were trying to make the fight, the way Fundora was fighting he wouldnt have been stopped by Bud. he literally has now become better once the spotlight has been on him.
Yup this. Had they fought in 2024 or winter of 2023 bud ices him. But 2025? I think fundora would be a lot for him to handle.

honestly if I was a manager of a top active fighter I wouldn’t let my guy fight this current version of Fundora at 154.

How do you even find a good sparing partner for Someone like him?

If he fights smart he is gonna give everyone at the weight class hell, the size difference is unfair.

Yeah man PBC brought something out of folks like I never seen. No other promoter I saw brought out this level of fukkin Stannery I ever seen.

And the problem is I could fukkin care less about who puts on what fight.

They never sign fledging up comers or Olympians or prospects, they always played that side of the street shyt, they consistently shelved guys for in-house matchmaking, and even now with a changing landscape (Netflix, DAZN, ESPN+ at the time etc) they still use only a paywall structure aka PPV to access their fights. And they never have a face to active promote or do media of their status.

It's a fukkin joke

while this is true, I looked back at the Thurman fight and Fundora still has that fatal flaw of standing straight up and punching with his right down. this is how ole boy starched him and Tszyu landed that shot plenty of times too but Fundora took it. Keith had just landed this same punch right before the fight was stopped which is why he was pissed. The punch didnt land flush. Now of course Keith is banking that his left hand would be enough to hurt Fundora which we dont know and the stoppage was fair because of the amount of damage Keith had taken up to that point just to land that shot. Fight goes on, he has more of a chance of taking a further beating at best, ktfo or hurt at worst just to land a punch that Tszyu couldnt dent him with. Mendoza just caught him perfectly.

he is beatable by good fast boxers....Boots or Xander can beat him. I dont think Vergil matches up well with Fundora though. most of these straight up boxers who like to get inside or with slow feet wont get it. Charlo, Spence, or any of the WW's like Haney, Ryan, Rollie, Norman, etc....they would all have very difficult time. funny that Ryan actually has the speed and power to do it but with his feet and frontrunner style, as fight goes on he'd be food especially if his stamina aint up to par. Fundora is extremely conditioned to go the rounds.

History certainly wont look kindly on any of those guys, really. Jermell, Keith, Deontay, Jermall, Danny, Shawn, Tank and even Errol. Jermell and Errol were great champions but the lay offs definitely hurt their reputations. Honestly ALL of those guys sound and look completely washed. Their reign is long over.
Deontay and Shawn legacies are HOF esque everyone else sus

I’d bet decent money on Fundora beating boots

I honestly see a lot of flaws in boots game, that people have not been able to capitalize on because of this physical abilities.

All that flashy shyt he do in the ring ain’t gonna work with the top guys at 154.
